Samburu and The Big 5
During this 9 day photo safari you will travel through some of Kenia’s most beautiful nature reserves and you have a good chance to be able to photograph the Big 5!
Solio Ranch is a private nature reserve, which has set itself the protection of the black rhino as a goal. That said, you can also find the world’s largest white rhino population here as well as many other animal species.
A bit removed from the standard Kenya safari circuit, Samburu radiates an atmopshere of peacefulness and serenity. Here we have great chances of spending time with lions, cheetahs, elephants and giraffes, but the area is particularly well-known for a few animal species that you can see almost nowhere else in Africa, such as the Gerenuk, the Beisa oryx, the Grevy zebra, the Reticulated giraffe and the Somali ostrich.
In Samburu we will also stay a couple of nights in a tented camp by the river, that also offers a night photography hide. This will be exclusive for our group during our stay there.
